On the job Wendi prepares tax returns and performs review, compilation and audit work at Peter C. Brankman and Company. She began with the company in 2006 as Receptionist/Support Staff/Bookkeeper –She left the company in 2008 to complete her degree program. She has been back with Peter Brankman and Company since July of 2010 as Senior Accountant. “Being a small public accounting firm, I believe, puts us at an advantage over some of our competitors. By establishing a relationship with our return tax and audit clients we are able to give them assurance that we care about their individual or company financial situation. We are also able to assure them that we will do what we can within the laws and structures that are mandated to us to have the greatest positive impact for them.”
What she likes most about the company is being part of a small team of accountants. She says “it allows us to really work together as a team while maintaining a high level of ethics AND superior service to our clients.” In her time outside of the office Wendi enjoys spending time with her family- her husband Al; her daughters Abby and Carmen; her grandchildren Julianna & Christopher; her stepchildren Zac & Zoe AND her cats Spunky, Zorro, Sam, Sis & Buster! She enjoys every sense of the word “gardening” …. from getting the dirt under her fingernails to sitting back and enjoying the fruits of her labor on a summer evening. She is also an avid reader of most things fiction although occasionally will enjoy a nonfiction book or two. Wendi is a Notary Public for the State of New Hampshire and is also the current Treasurer for her home Town of Salisbury, NH. |
